HLTV.org has learned that the IEM5 European Championship match between Meet Your Makers and DELTA will have to be replayed.
The Polish team had originally won the match 2-1, but MYM handed in a protest, claiming that four DELTA players had not used ESL Wire, the competition's anti-cheating program, on the second and third maps, and that one of them had uploaded fake files onto the website.
After reviewing the protest, the ESL has ruled that the teams will have to face each other again, though it has not been decided whether they will only replay the last two maps, both of which DELTA won, or the entire match.
The ESL is currently in discussions with MYM and DELTA to decide what to do in this case, so stay tuned to HLTV.org for further developments on this matter.
